No matter how old we are, losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on, like a legacy of love that will always be with you. With deepest sympathy,
What a bright spot Joanie was! She shared one of my most memorable vacations ever! She accompanied me to Cancun Mexico. Aerobics in the pool, tours of the pyramids, lazying in the wonderful sun in February! We shared those years at Sprint with many a laugh and good time. She made work a fun place to be! What a great lady!
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I am so sorry to hear of Joannie’s passing. She was a wonderful and dear friend to me. She was always willing to trade shifts with me so that I could go to school. I have always appreciated her generosity and her support. I haven’t seen her in years, but I have thought of her often. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and her Aunt. The world is little less bright without her in it. Please know that I am holding your family close to my heart during this difficult time.
A friend of a friend and my friend is so saddened. I had to meet the person who moved on. I am so sorry as she is such a beautiful person. Such a good spirit.
Saddened to hear of Joan’s passing…she was so much fun and so entertaining. She really had a way about her. My dad was asking about her recently, he met her when he came to her apartment by Sprint to repair her dining chairs. She charmed and flirted with him! She was so lovely and will be missed by all that knew her at any point in her life.
I am so sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. She will be truely
missed. I remember when I was in high school and at her
house she always made me feel very welcome and like one
of her own. Nancy, you and your brothers are in my prayers.
I worked with Joan at Sprint and I want the family to know she had a great sense of humor and it was fun working with her. She always had a positive attitude and could lift anyone’s spirits. My condolences to the family.

I am saddened by the loss of Joan. I worked w/ her @ Sprint and we all enjoyed her immensely. Tremendous passion for life and people. Great lady!
Your Mother and mine (Dorothy Armstrong) shared a room at New Mark for a time. They became good friends. I also became friends with Joan. She had an incredible spirit, attitude and sense of humor. I attended her 80th birthday and so enjoyed seeing her. It saddens me that she has passed on, yet all of her family, I’m sure, knows she is in a better place. God Bless all of you
I, too, worked with Joan at Sprint. I could always count on her beautiful smile to brighten my day. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.
We extend our most sincere sympathy to you all upon the loss of our beloved Joan. I know your courage will help you through this rough time. Our love is with you all.
