Jimmy leaves many loved ones, his precious wife, Brianna and his five cherished children, Adam, Jamesen Jr., Ariana, Katelyn, and Madison. Additionally both Jimmy and Bri played an instrumental role in the lives of their three nieces, Lexus, Ashaley, and Lilly Perkins, even taking Ashaley into their home to raise her as one of their own these past few years. He also leaves his dad, Jeff Van Wagner, and his mother, Wendy Van Wagner. He will be missed by his brother Shelby Lewis (Jessica Dulanski) and his sister Ciara Perkins (Landon Coons), his grandmother’s Georgia Anne Van Wagner and Donna Burke. Additionally he leaves his Aunt Sandy Van Wagner, Uncle Kevin Stripling, Uncle John and Aunt Shawn Van Wagner, and Uncle Scott and Aunt Marie Hoppers, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Burton C. Van Wagner. Jimmy was deeply loved by all and will be sadly missed.
Jimmy was a proud graduate of Oak Park High School. He was a valued employee in the maintenance department at the Royal Oaks Hospital in Windsor, MO. Jimmy’s proudest moments in life was watching his children grow. He loved watching baseball games, football, basketball and cheerleading and other events that his children were involved in over the years. Jimmy loved his children more than anything else in this life.
Funeral services for Jimmy will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd; 4947 NE Chouteau Drive, Kansas City, MO 64119, Sunday January 8th, 2023 at 3:00 PM on the occasion of his 34th birthday. To the family of Jameson (as we knew him at Royal Oaks Hospital), please accept my sincere condolences. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Jameson was a very special young man. I got the honor of sewing up a Halloween costume so he could take his children trick or treating. He will be missed beyond measure.
To my beloved VanWagner family. There’s no words to say how sorry I am. I have known you all my entire life. Jimmy was such a great guy. Always helpful and even came to Wamego to help me move in years past. His smile was contagious. He made a difference in death by giving others life. I love you all so much. The grief is so hard but try to let happy memories give you peace. May God bless you!
Saying many prayers for all those loved ones Jimmy left behind. So sorry for your loss. Leaving so many people from his donations to receive a better life is the best gift he could give others, leaving a legacy behind and showing his love and care for humanity. God bless.
