Jimmie Anne Fiorella, 82, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully Friday, August 4, 2023 in her home.
Born on April 21, 1941 in Eupora, Mississippi, the daughter of Macon and Kelcie Crumby. She married Jack Carl Fiorella on March 15, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri sharing 59 wonderful years of marriage.
Jimmie graduated from the Draughan Business College in Memphis, Tennessee. Soon after graduating she went to work for the US government in Washington DC with the Social Security Department and then later with the IRS in Kansas City until she became a homemaker. She was extremely proud of her family and cherished spending time with them, especially sporting events. Additionally, she enjoyed card games, treasuring her weekly bridge club, her bowling league and hiking in the outdoors. She was a member of St. John LaLande church where she volunteered.
Jimmie is survived by her husband, Jack Fiorella. Her three children: Mark Fiorella (Jeniel) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Michael Fiorella of Blue Springs, Missouri and Nikki Sherman (Jason) of Kansas City, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Austin Fiorella and Londin Fiorella. Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.
