To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die. – Thomas Campbell
Dot, Mark, and Family,
Jim welcomed me to the Nichols family 33 years ago and called me sister. No matter the trials he stood by me, never missing a moment to tell me how much he loved me, how proud he was of me, and that I was very special. He was just as loving and giving as an Uncle. He was larger than life and one of the most giving and gentle men I have had the privilege to know. His absence in our life will be felt for years to come. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God’s peace brother…

We will remember Jim as a loving and dedicated man. He spoke often of his wife, son, and grandchildren. He was always happy to help students and giving of himself to others. Jim’s ways were loving and radiated toward everything that he did. He was always peaceful and pleasant; his positive energy was inspiring and encouraging.
Dot, Marilyn and I will keep you in our prayers. I will be at the Cathedral Saturday morning so I will put in a good word for you there.
Dot, Norbert & I want you to know you and your family are in our hearts these days. So sorry to hear of your husband’s sudden passing. May you know God’s peace & healing.
