Jeffery S. King, 40, Liberty, MO formerly of Parkville, MO passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 in Camdenton, MO as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born January 27, 1972 in Kansas City, MO and attended Park Hill High School. He had lived in the Parkville area most of his life.
Jeff spent the majority of his working years in the construction business. He was a carpenter by trade and was very good at what he did. He was the head framer on his crew. Jeff was a handyman and could fix just about anything. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, watching football, playing video games and computer games. He was a kid at heart.
He married Michelle Rooney on April 13, 1996 in Kansas City, MO. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include their three children, Amberly, Krista and Russell King, all of the home; a sister, Heather Lawson of Kansas City, MO; a brother, Thomas Lawson of Kansas City, MO.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Jeff’s life will take place from 1-3:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. Cremation will follow the gathering. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jeff King Memorial Fund and may be left in care of Capitol Federal Savings, 5821 NW Barry Rd.
