James Michael “Mike” Wilkinson II, 36, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Cameron Regional Hospital in Cameron, MO. He was born October 21, 1984 to Mike and Becky (Bennett) Wilkinson in Rolla, MO.
Mike is a 2003 Rolla High School graduate. He worked as a correctional officer for the Western Missouri Correctional Center in Cameron, MO. Mike enjoyed golfing and watching sports especially the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and Kansas City Chiefs. He cherished spending time with his friends and family. Above all Mike was a loving father to his three boys, Landon, Jaden, and Jaxon.
Survivors include his sons, Landon Michael Wilkinson, Jaden Daniel Wilkinson, Jaxon Carver Wilkinson of Easton, MO; mother, Becky Callen and Gary of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Lindsay Sifrit and husband Jim of Lee’s Summit, MO and their son, Jimmy Michael Sifrit; paternal grandmother, Laura “Claudie” Wilkinson of Rolla, MO; former wife, Loni Wilkinson of Easton, MO; aunts; uncles; and cousins. Mike is preceded in death by his father, James Wilkinson; paternal grandfather, Jim Ray Wilkinson; maternal grandmother, Sandra “Sue” Bennett; aunt, Debby Mitchell; former father-in-law, Tim Carver.
A gathering to celebrate Mike’s life will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. His family suggests that flowers be sent or memorial contributions be made to further his sons’ education. So sorry to hear of mike passind away so soon. He was a felloe brother to us that worked with him at Western Correctional Center in Cameron and became a Sgt. That showed alot of respect and concern for those he was in charge of. He will be greatly missed. May God comfprt his family during this time of loss.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. He was definitely a great person to work with at the prison.
