Ida was a great co-worker and friend. Our early morning conversations in the office watching the sunrise as we started our morning work were very special. Ida’s presence in our office and lives will be truly missed.
I was saddened to hear of Ida’s passing. Ida was someone I looked up to and wanted to mimic in my older years. Ida enjoyed life and never let anything stop her from doing what she wanted. She travelled, volunteered her time, played bunko, and consistently enjoyed time with her friends. I will miss her!
I worked with Ida for more than 17 years. We shared her love of shopping and jewelry. She will be missed.
Ida was a funny, wonderful and sweet friend. We shared a love for critters and she talked often of her cat that she’d gotten down at Al’s in Riverside. I enjoyed teasing her that she needed to get another cat or two from Animals in Need and she’d just laugh. We’d pass each other “critter” e-mails and she sent me one special e-mail titled “Jumpy the Dog” She was a delight and always quick to smile. I will truly miss you!!
We were so fortunate to know Ida while working @ TWA and now @ BCD. She was such a joy to be around and we will miss her and may she rest in peace.

I met Ida at BCD where we both worked – we shared many memories of Europe and I was so pleased to have someone to converse in German with – we enjoyed concerts together – and after I stopped working there, met for lunch sometimes at Andre’s on the Plaza. I am shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She was a joy to be with and I will miss her and her lively spirit.
I sat across from Ida at BCD. She was always pleasant and fun to be around. I will miss talking with her and I am thankful that I had the opportunity to meet her. She would laugh knowing I still haven’t sent in my passport application that she was always reminding me to send in. I’m submitting it this Friday, Ida! Thank you for being you, Ida. My condolences to her family and especially her granddaughter, whom she spoke about often.
I’m so sorry to hear of Ida’s passing. She was a remarkable lady, always had a smile on her face and a cheerful “Hello” when passing in the hall. We’ve worked together for many years and she will be missed here at BCD Travel. My thoughts are with her family.
Ida will be greatly missed. I loved hearing her stories of Holland, and every time I saw her, she inquired about my wife, who had been dealing with an illness. That just exemplified Ida- so caring and concerned for others. My prayers are with her entire family.
