Greg was an extremely hard worker and talented painter. He spent the majority of his working career painting for Fields Painting and most recently, Rob Lewis Painting. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, camping and most importantly, spending time with his family, his friends and his beloved dog, Lucy. He was a jack of all trades and good at them all. He was constantly putting his artistic talents to use. Greg was a gentle soul who always looked out for others. He will be dearly missed.
Survived by his parents, Gary and Linda Ultican of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Angela Rae Hedges of Kansas City, MO; and brother, Mark Edward Ultican (Jacque) of Venice, FL; nieces and nephews, Ryan Cooper, Cassie Washington and Zach Ultican.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate and honor Greg’s life at the Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs on Saturday, October 8, 2022. The Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Memorial Service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Words of comfort and memories of Greg may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.

pieces of furniture that were so loving refinished by your son
My antiques that were so beautifully refinished by Greg will be a constant reminder to our family how artistic , creative and loved he is.
My heart breaks to hear this very sad news. Giant bear hugs to all of you–Angie, Mark, Linda and Big G. The odd thing is that even during such a terrible tragedy, I cannot think of Greg Ultican for even five seconds without smiling. I never knew a sweeter someone with such an easy smile and so quick to laugh. From second grade to 60, I literally cannot picture him without a smile. He’s an unforgettable guy who brought so much joy to so many people–not a bad legacy to leave, I’d say. Peace and love to all his family. I am so sorry.
