George Laible, a resident of Kansas City, KS passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was born October 10, 1940 in Kansas City, KS to John and Martha Dagenette. George was later adopted and by Robert P. and Emalou (Derington) Laible.
George graduated from Bonner Springs High School Class of 1967, where he was known as Floyd D. Dagenette. He retired from the United States Postal Service, where he was a rural mail carrier in the Bonner Springs area. In his spare time, George enjoyed buying “junk” as he called it from state sales and garage sales. A skilled carpenter, he also enjoyed flipping houses.
Survived by a sister, Deborah Laible of Parkville, MO; and a brother, Robert “Robbie” Laible of Rolesville, NC and his wife, Doty; two nephews, Thomas Stark and John Christopher Laible; and a niece, Heather A. Johnson.
In accordance with Mr. Laible’s wishes, cremation will take place and no formal service will be held. Arrangements entrusted with the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville.

Salt of the earth type of a guy, we played pool together and he would tell me stories of his youth and riding and jumping motorcycles. We gave him Christmas treats in exchange for some of his homemade wine. Real good guy, God Bless ya George.
