So sorry to hear about Aunt Frances. I have fond sweet memories visiting her and uncle Aaron on our many vacations to MO.
I am so sorry for your loss. My brother and I refer to her as “Grandma Tackett” – she took care of us when we were babies living in Missouri, and made a lasting impression on both of us from a very young age. I can still picture her living room. 30 years later and I will always remember her kindness.
Frances and Aaron came into our family’s lives when Nicholas was born. Having no family in the area, they both became “grandparents” to Nick and eventually Emily. For years, as I worked at the pharmacy, I knew Nick and Emily were loved and safe staying with Frances. She had such an even temperment, and was always someone I could trust and depend on. I loved them both very much. Judy, thank you for suggesting that they babysit for the kids. You’ve had so much loss, I wish I could give you a big hug.
