Elisaveta Stamp Nicolae, 89, of Parkville, Missouri passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side.
Elisaveta was born September 1, 1933 of Romanian parents to Gheorge and Elisaveta (Ghegher) Stamp in Kolin, Czechoslovakia. In 1961 she married Marin Stefan Nicolae, in Predeal, Romania. Her beloved husband preceded her in 2001. In 2002 she immigrated to the USA, the country that she loved dearly. She would always say…”America, America frumos” (the beautiful).
She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, walking to the park, watching movies, cooking, eating chocolate. Best of all she cooked the best slow cook Romanian cuisine you’ve ever tasted. Jimmy called her the “BOSS”.
She is survived by her only child, Dr. Marina N. Hannen and son-in-law, James A. Hannen of Parkville, MO.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. A Committal Service will follow at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Parkville. Memories of Elisaveta and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com
