Linda, Lauren, Michael, and Lizzie…
We are heartbroken about Larry losing his battle. He was such an incredible man. Priceless Sense of humor, great man to hang out with. Being with him made our heart smile from side to side and ear to ear….
His struggle with Parkinson’s was his cross to bear. He didn’t burden anyone … just trudged ahead in life with courage and humility. He was a GREAT doctor that had his career stopped short of helping those who needed him.
We are SO Honored to have had him
As a friend. Just wish we could have spent more time with him. And we are blessed to treasure your family as friends too.
Our love and prayers are with all of you. There is a gaping hole left on this earth when he went “home”.
Much love,
Linda and Mike
Larry was such a great and kind man. He surely will be missed. As many others have said, Larry made quite a difference.
So saddened to hear of the passing of my medical school classmate and friend. He was a very kind soul.

Linda and family,
Our deepest sympathy to you all. Your memories will be cherished…he was an extraordinary husband, father, Dr. and friend. I’m glad we got to see him several times over the past two years.
Linda I first knew Larry as my friends doctor and later as mine. He was kind and generous with his time. I respected him on many levels. I know he will be remembered by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
To the Albani family, although ours paths have not crossed for many years whenever I would see Larry at a KU game it was great to catch up on “old” times. I was honored to work with Larry at Spelman Memorial and the Barry Road Hospital. He was a friend, neighbor and my physician for my dreaded kidney stones. I know how challenging the past years have been for those closest to him. Thoughts and prayers to Linda and your family. He was a really good man.
Linda and family,,

My prayers are with Linda, Frank and the entire Albani family. Larry was a true mentor to me during my Urology training at KU.
He was a gifted surgeon, a compassionate physician, a great leader and he had the gift of finding some joy and humor every single day I worked with him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I enjoyed visiting with you both he would come in for a haircut.
Just heard of Larry’s passing. What a fun, smart fellow classmate with a quirky sense of humor while we were in Pharmacy school together. Loved seeing the relationship between him and Linda. and Rhonda and I were lucky enough to take a ballroom dance class together with them. Larry, we will see you on the other side!
