Jim will be long remembered by our family as the one who held onto his master plan of keeping the whole family together, year after year since Nov 87. Every year our kids arrived with great expectations, and Jim and Grace did not disappoint. No one wanted to miss our yearly Thanksgiving/Christmas “event.” Over the years, Jim’s house is where we met the new additions to the family, whether babies, pets, or future spouses. We have a lifetime of treasured memories due to the hospitality and generosity of Jim and Grace. We are very grateful.
Jim usually was quiet, kind, thoughtful and generous. And…very forgiving of the many times our family over the years tested his patience with our “accidents” or various descriptions. We will remember him fondly–with love, respect and gratitude.
Words seem useless in times like this. I hold you all in my heart. Peace and love.
Jim played many roles in my life, but the most important one was friend. Grace and family, I am with you in this moment of loss. What a terrific man, father, husband, and friend he was.
Prayers and blessings to you all

Grace and family, we send big hugs to you during this difficult transition. We will always remember Jim for the fun Thanksgiving family get togethers you two hosted! Thank you for including us (the outlaws). He will always be remembered for his kindness, love, and faithfulness to his family and friends through thick and thin. He would comment during our visits that he was so thankful that he had the opportunity to bring everyone together. Once again, he brings everyone together to celebrate his life.

My thoughts and prayers are with the stuckmeyer family today. I have been lucky enough to enjoy great experiences through my friendships with Taylor, Colton, and Austin and certainly enjoyed my few experiences with Dr. Stuckmeyer and his whole family.
Grace and Family,
It was an honor to work for Dr. Stuckmeyer. He often told us gals at the office we were greatly appreciated and that he considered us all good friends. We are truly blessed to have known him….he will be missed.
My heartfelt condolences to the family. Jim was more than a business consultant to me–he was a friend. I enjoyed his company and his loving stories about his family. Rest in peace.
A gentleman and a scholar. I never met him but I know he helped many people, more than most. Quite extraordinary. Condolences to the family.

To Grace,
condolences to you, your kids and all who loved him. The memories of your family and the sharing of events on your property will always be fond memories. Prayers to you.
It is hard to overstate the positive impact Dr. Stuckmeyer had on the lives of injured workers who desperately needed his combination of compassion and expertise to get the medical treatment they needed. I had many interactions with him over the years and he clearly cared about everyone he met. The world and the Kansas City medical community have lost a great man. I will miss him.
