A Memorial Service celebrating Doc’s life will commence at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Meyers Northland Chapel 401 Main St. Parkville, MO. Ronald Steven Dockler, aka “Doc,” 67, of Platte City, MO passed away peacefully Thursday, October 26, 2023 at NorthCare Hospice House with his family by his side. Doc was born January 17, 1956 to Harold and Sara (Morrison) Dockler in Stanford, North Carolina.
Doc was united in marriage with Tyba Hamman on February 24, 1984 in Chambers County, Texas/ They later moved to Platte City, MO.
Doc spent the majority of his working career as an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer.
He was a man with strong Christian beliefs and enjoyed sharing his faith with family and friends. Spending time family and his Yorkie, fur baby Bebe was his world. Doc will be remembered for his work ethics and determination. He was also an avid sports fan; especially with the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys.
Doc is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tyba Dockler; children: Richard Dockler (Kelsey); Michael Dockler; Sarah Barges (Chuck) and Derik Dockler; nine grandchildren: Derik; CJ; Sammy; Michael; Shelby; Bentley; Easton; Kinsley and Kyla; and a brother, Frankly Cole. Doc was preceded in death by both parents Harold and Sara and two of his yorkies, Uncle and Amy Jane.

I will always have fond memories of him.
I worked with Ron and he was always positive and he was a good man.
