Monday at 5:00 Am, Dianne, age 66, lost her courageous battle with cancer; she fought until the end with dignity and grace. She was surrounded by loved ones and friends, she had such a strong belief in our Lord that she understood that this was his plan and she was at peace.
Dianne was very much a leader in her Church and Community; she served and took care of the “Adopt-a-family” for Blue Springs Christian Church. She traveled to a Church in California for training to be a leader in “Celebrate Recovery” at her Blue Springs Church, which she served for eight years. She spent her days volunteering in many ways for our Community. She was happiest doing for others and serving the Lord.
Dianne and her husband Ray, were happily married for 48 years, she was a devoted Wife and Mother to her only daughter Carol. She was so proud of her three Grandchildren and she showered them with her unconditional love. She had many pets that she adored and the biggest heart and love for all animals, so much so that her friends and family held a donation drive in her name and presented it in her honor to Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter. Everyone’s generosity in giving to animals gave her strength in her final days.
Dianne will be remembered for many things, but especially for her giving and serving heart for others.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Duncan of Blue Springs, daughter, Carol Keener of Blue Springs, and her fiancé Mitchell Canseco of Lee’s Summit, three Grandchildren, Alyssa, Brenna, and Caden Keener of Blue Springs, brother and his wife, Jimmy and Susie Vinson of Lawson, MO, their three children and their families, brother and sister in law, James and Dixie Duncan of Kansas City, sister-in-law Betty Ross of Joplin, Missouri.
