David Edward Wagner, 66, passed away peacefully Friday, January 27, 2023 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born October 20, 1956 to Clarence and Amelia (Cairns) Wagner in Leavenworth, KS.
David graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1974. He worked as an engineer for Ronson Manufacturing Corp. in Independence, MO, and retired in 2021. David enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, riding his motorcycle, cooking, and working the grill. He cherished spending time with his daughters, and grandchildren.
Survived by his daughters, Leann Michelle Wagner of Sugar Creek, MO, Cairn Amelia Wagner of Blue Springs, MO, Kayln Jean Wagner of Blue Springs, MO; sisters, Joan Lea Brewer of Grain Valley, MO, Michele Jean Salko of Lee’s Summit, MO, Terri Ann Held of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Kamelia Marie Wagner, Kashton Rieder Wagner, Emma Jean Wagner.
A funeral service celebrating David’s life will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. We have many good memories with Dave. Mike enjoyed riding with him on their motorcycles. Going fishing with him. We also enjoyed many meals together. Good times. we miss you Dave.
