David Floyd Moe, 84, a resident of Warsaw, MO formerly of Independence, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born September 3, 1937 to Marlin and Ruth (Kirshner) Moe in Milwaukie, WI.
David was united in marriage to Oleta Joy King on June 9, 1960 in Salem, OR. He worked for the Missouri Department of Mental Health. David was a Pastor of the Farview Restoration Branch Church of Jesus Christ in Independence for a number of years before becoming a member of the Clinton Restoration Branch. He enjoyed doing word searches, cooking, being on the computer, adult coloring books, and watching games shows. David cherished spending time with his family and friends, and his beloved dog, Buddy.
Survived by his son Mark Moe of Warsaw, MO; brother, Kenneth Moe (Pauline) of Independence, MO; granddaughters, Tiffany Moe of Blue Springs, MO, Elissa Biggers (Ricky) of Jefferson City, MO, Johnna Brockman of Columbia, MO. David is preceded in death by his wife, Oleta Moe; son, Gregory Moe.
