ARL has been our lawn service for 25+years.
🌷🌷🌷
To the ARL family, Ray and Dave started caring for my lawn a number of years ago when I decided that I didn’t like having poison ivy anymore. Ray, Dave, John and my mowing crew have always been very kind to me. I have wondered many times over the past year how Dave was doing and said a prayer for him and the family. The message from John broke my heart. May the Lord bless and keep you all in the palm of his hand.
Julie, Kelsey and Kinsey
We are so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing! He was a wonderful coach and friend. Our prayers go out to you and your entire family during this difficult time.
God’s blessings and peace to Dave’s family. We are so sorry for your loss. Lisa and I were grateful to have known Dave.
Some of the best memories during the years of men’s softball in Liberty. Dave was always so much fun. The stories are endless. Please know that you are all in our hearts during this difficult time. Cancer just sucks.
I met David in junior high when his family moved to Sioux Falls. My first conversation with him was that our first football practice. I said to the new kid so are you any good at football he said yeah but wait for basketball season. That started a 40-year friendship as we went on to play and attend high school together at Sioux Falls Washington high School. We continued after high School to get together and try to play golf a couple times a year together in recent years David would come up with Ben and Cody and we would play numerous golf courses around Sioux Falls. Unfortunately due to David’s back condition that slowly stopped. The Last time I saw David was at his Hall of Fame induction into our Sioux Falls Washington athletic Hall of Fame, that was a great night for all and was very proud of David and his accomplishments. My dad Tom also attended that night and that is a great memory for us to have for Dave. Rest in peace my friend and condolences to all his family and friends from the Behrend family.
My prayers are with Julie Kinsey and Kelsey and the entire family. What a wonderful man Dave was. He helped and cared for so many Softball players and the development of those players was amazing. I had the privilege and honor of coaching with Dave and I considered him a great friend. God Bless Dave and the entire family! Praying for comfort at this time of sorrow!
Dave was a bigger than life personality.
He was fun and engaging.
I enjoyed working with Dave to build and grow baseball & Softball in our community
Prayers for the family.
Rest in peace Brother!!
We knew Dave for many years while coaching against him, with him, and for him. He always had “that smile” and never had bad word to say about anybody. Julie, Kelsey, and Kinsey there are no words that can help with your loss. This truly left a hole in our hearts.
R.I.P Dave

So sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He’s was a great man who was passionate about the game of softball. He was very much appreciated by our family and was not only a great coach but a great mentor for our granddaughter as well. The softball world has lost a good one and I for one will never forget the contributions he did for our granddaughter and our family. My the lord be with you Dave and we will always be grateful to you.
