David Allen Jackson, 67, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. He was born August 14, 1956 to Clifford and Anna (Reynolds) Jackson in Kansas City, MO.
David is a 1974 graduate of Northeast High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Marines, and was honorably discharged. David was united in marriage to Lori Trupp on March 7, 1998 in Lee’s Summit, MO. He spent his working career as a delivery truck driver for Insley Manufacturing Co. David later worked as a security guard in the Kansas City Metro area for several years. He was also heavily involved in the Boys Scouts of America, he was a camp staff worker along with various other positions for Boy Scouts Troop # 165 in Kansas City, MO. David enjoyed deer hunting, and fishing.
Survived by his wife, Lori Jackson of Blue Springs, MO; children, Sydney Jackson, Johnathan Jackson, Amanda Jackson all of Blue Springs, MO; brothers, Clifford Jackson and wife Kathy of Holden, MO, Jeff Jackson and wife Kathy of Oshkosh, WI. David is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Anna Jackson; paternal grandparents, Howard and Velma Jackson.
David will be cremated. Inurnment will take place at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO at a later time. Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs has been entrusted with arrangements. Memories of David and words of comfort for his family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com
