In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. The family will celebrate Darrell’s life privately. The Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville has been entrusted with the final arrangements. Memories of Darrell and condolences may be shared at Meyersfuneralchapel.com.
Darrell was my nephew. He stayed with me days at a time when he was young. He and my son Mitchell shared a lot of time together. When they were older they did a lot of hiking and canoeing and camping. Somewhere along the line Darrell decided to go his own way and not have connections with family members. This saddened a lot of people including myself.
We are heartbroken to hear of his death…especially when I remember his birth and what a sweet baby he was. HIs mom loved him with all her heart. I suppose it’s a good thing that she went before him.
Rest in peace, Dear Darrell. You didn’t experience much peace when alive.
RIP Darrell, it’s been a year and my mom and I were looking for you just wondering what you were up to these days. I had some great memories of you as a teenager. Yosemite trips, river rafting, beach trips. You played a huge role as my step dad. You will forever be missed.
Rest in Peace Darrell! You were such an amazing man and father figure! Super sad to search for you online to find this obituary. I remember that picture of you. That was taken during some very happy times in California! You will be greatly missed!
