Curtis Lee Quinn, 62, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, December 8, 2013 in Warrensburg, MO. Graveside services for Curtis will be 10:00 am, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Curtis was born June 1, 1951 in Independence, MO to Jack and Doris (Allison) Quinn. Curtis served in the US Army. He was a courier for package delivery companies. He enjoyed muzzle loading with black powder shoots. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Curtis is survived by his children, Curtis Wesley Quinn and his wife Martha of Grain Valley, Mo, and Amy Marie Adams and her husband Brian of Blue Springs, MO; brother William Craig Quinn and his wife Beverly of Oak Grove, MO; grandchildren, Gavin Quinn, Tyler Adams and Collin Quinn.

My condolences to the Quinn family. I will never forget that infectious smile and laugh when he would hang out with my dad (Billy Lindberg). I remember playing with his daughter Amy when we were kids. Even after all these years, there are some people you never forget. Thoughts are with you all.
I have lost a good friend and he will always be a good friend. I’ve known Curtis for over 40 years and in those earlier years will had loads of good times and i will miss him dearly but we will see each other again one day. Hope you had a safe journey my friend. I am sorry for the Quinn family loss. Curtis was one of my favorite students at Chrisman. I still have a project he made for me in woodshop.
