Cora L. Dailey, 62, a resident of Parkville, MO passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015. Cora was the only child born to Joseph and Minnie (Fales) Brown on April 12, 1953.
For everyone who met Cora, they immediately knew what a kind, wonderful and loving person she was. She would help anyone in need; whether it was giving a couple of dollars to help-out or a place to stay. She loved her family; especially getting visits from her grandchildren, she always found time for them. Being a kid at heart, Christmas was her favorite holiday; she loved the magic and sparkle of celebrating the birth of baby, Jesus. Christmas truly moved her spirit.
Cora was preceded in death by both parents: father, Joseph Brown and mother, Minnie Fales. She is survived by her children: Shelly (Foltz) Holsted of Parkville, MO; Tim Foltz of Spokane Valley, WA; John Patrick Adelman of Dubuque, IA: Bridget Genson of St. Joseph, MO; Donald Wayne Genson of Chillicothe, MO; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family is fulfilling Cora’s final wishes to be cremated. A Candle light service will take place at a later date. Memories of Cora and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.

Sorry for the lost of Cora but she is no longer in pain she’s in heaven with sandy looking down on us
Life was a struggle for you as it is for us all. Some though, have more than their fair share of struggles. In this bittersweet moment, part of me is grateful that you’ll suffer no more indignity, or pain and heartache. Part of me wishes you’d had a better life while among us, but I take a small comfort in knowing now that you’ll have what you were denied in life, which is peace, finally and well deserved. Rest mom, someday we’ll meet again.
