To the family of Connie Edie:
So sorry to hear of Connie’s passing. She was full of life and had a wonderful personality. We met Bob & Connie at church many years ago. I still have the little cloth picture frame and the cloth telephone book that she gave me. She loved to do crafts and was very good at it. She is at peace and with Jesus and not suffering anymore. We pray that God wraps his arms around her family during this difficult time. May you as a family have peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Connie was such a wonderful woman, who was so fun and was game for anything during our scrapbook retreats. The memories we made will stay with me for the rest of my life. To Connie’s family, I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that your memories of this beautiful woman will sustain you in your grief. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
I am heartbroken to hear if Connie’s passing. I enjoyed pulling pranks, hassling each other’s and spending time with her at scrapbooking events. Sending prayers for comfort for the family, whom she was so proud of!
Dand and I are so sorry to hear of Connie’s passing. We remember the Edie family from our good times at church during our 11 year stay in Blue Springs in the 1980’s. I especially remember how one Sunday morning she answered our Sunday School Teacher’s question about what things in this life are really necessities… and Connie promptly and boldly declared that, “Air Conditioning in the car was on her ‘necessity’ list!” At the time, the entire large class couldn’t stop laughing for quite a while… Now, at our ages, and amid this record setting heat wave of 2022, I must say I think Connie was right! Many fond memories of our friendship to ponder as we all deal with the loss of a terrific and talented person.
Our prayers go out to Bob, Robbie, Beth & Justin for peace & comfort during this time. My memories of Connie was laughter, & fun. We shared & had Justin in our home many many times over his elementary & teen years She was a big fan of Royals., I recall going with the family when our son Scott & Justin we’re younger. She’s with Jesus now, in her Heavenly Home.
My memories of Connie are always a smile and always considerate of others. Connie was so much fun and game to try almost anything? Our table at the scrapbooking retreats was always laughing and enjoying each other’s company. We used to chat about The KC Royals win or lose we were always for them. Connie, my friend Rest In Peace
.
Bob & family. My condolences. Connie will be missed by so many of her scrapbooking friends. Connie always found the humorous side. She had a big heart. Her faith always guided her.
Bob and family, please accept our condolences. Connie was such a joyful person and her light will be missed from the world. Our kiddos loved getting to know Connie during her visits with Debbie. It was awesome to see such a wonderful friendship and we loved hearing about their adventures. It gave such hope for long lasting friendships which is something that is truly inspiring.
