Funeral Services have been set for Clifford Snow. The Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Meyers Funeral Chapel Northland 401 Main Street Parkville, MO.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the McCord Cemetery, Farmer City, Illinois with the Reverend Noah Lee officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make Memorial contributions to the Hospice of your choice.
Clifford “Cliff” Nelson Snow, 83, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at home in Kansas City, Missouri, surrounded by family.
Cliff was born April 17, 1940 in Bloomington, Illinois to Theodore and Reva (Lawson) Snow. He grew up in the Downs, IL area and began a career with the railroad in the early 1960’s. He married JoAnn Rousey in 1961.
He moved to the Kansas City, MO area in the mid-1980’s to continue a long career as an engineer for GM & O, ICG and Amtrak Railroads. He married Lorene (Kendzora-Sackman) on December 28, 1991.
After retiring in 2001, Cliff’s hobbies included restoration of Ford Model A & T cars, travel, and a continued interest in farming. He was a member of the KC Model T Chuggers, High Peaks Model T Club and Model T Ford International, Model T Club of America. He was a past member of Masonic Freemason Lodge, Northland Shriners and Scottish Rite. Cliff was also a retired member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Lorene, of the home; his son, Bill (Malinda), of Farmer City, IL; his daughter, Karen of Leroy, IL; step-daughter, Laurie (Wayne) Lewis of Kansas City, MO; step-son, Shawn Sackman of Platte City, MO; six grandchildren: Jessica Garifi, Amanda Waremburg, Austin Sackman, Logan Sackman, Megan Lewis, Blake Lewis and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother, Michael of Pleasant Valley, MO; Curtis (Virginia) of Bloomington, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Madeline (Kermit) Carlock.

while you ran errands for a couple of hours.
