A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Clifford L. Mullins will be held 3:00 p.m. October 27, 2023, at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. Military Honors follow the service under the auspices of the Missouri Funeral Honors Program in conjunction with the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service. Private urn placement will take place at a later date. Clifford L. Mullins, 62, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, October 8, 2023. He was born February 2, 1961 Akron, OH to Clifford and Florence (Chaffin) Mullins. They preceded him in death.
Cliff graduated from Park Hill High School and went on to have a decorated career in the United States Marine Corps. During his time as an active duty Marine, he traveled the world training snipers, including stints in Japan, Korea and Afghanistan. The majority of his working career was spent as an over the road truck driver, a job he truly enjoyed. Following retirement, he worked in HVAC maintenance and following COVID, went to work for Urban Outfitters, where he was currently employed.
Cliff enjoyed working with wood and various crafts. He took pride in things he built and projects he was working on. He also enjoyed riding his scooter and he was a big fan of Marvel Comics.
He married Sharon Kay Davis on August 5, 1995 in Kansas City. Mrs. Mullins preceded him in death on July 16, 2019. Survivors include his son, Cody Michael Mullins of Gladstone, MO; three siblings: Steve Mullins and wife, Brenda of Maryville, MO, Larry Michael Mullins and wife, Cindy of Broken Arrow, OK, and Patty Mullins Sears and husband, Greg of Oklahoma City, Ok.
