Cheryl Lea Radford, 63, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully at 4:05 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the St. Luke’s North Hospital in Kansas City. She was born October 4, 1958 in Kansas City, KS to William “Bill” and Beverly (Barnhardt) Radford.
Cheryl was a hard worker and enjoyed working with friends at a sheltered workshop in North Kansas City and Liberty, MO. She had a deep love for people and in her spare time enjoyed dancing and swimming. At an early age, her family was told she would only live to be 25 or so. Her family was blessed to have over 63 years with her. She will be dearly missed.
Her father, Bill preceded her in death. Survived by her mother, Beverly of Parkville, MO; twin sister, Cynthia Radford; sister, Stephanie Beckman; and three brothers: William H. Radford, III, Bart M. Radford and Stuart B. Radford.
A Memorial Service celebrating Cheryl’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. No formal visitation with be held. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Platte County Board of Services and may be left in care of the funeral home. Memories of Cheryl and condolences may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.

I’m sorry to hear of Chery’s passing. I enjoyed working with her as her S.O. swim and bowling coach. She loved music and dancing. She was always happy to see you and had a wonderful smile for you. She will be missed. Peace and prayers for the Radford family.
