In Loving Memory of Charles Michael McKeon “Pisces”
Chuck was a man of many talents, with an incomparable sense of humor, and a larger-than-life personality. He passed away on October 31, 2023. He is preceded in death by his father Charles “Big Chuck” McKeon. He is survived by his mother Maxine McKeon, his sisters Glenda, Paula, and Kelly, his children Megan, Matthew, Erin, Sophia, and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Riverside, MO, Chuck attended St. Pius X before continuing his undergraduate studies at Rockhurst University and continuing on to University of Missouri-Kansas City for law school. He began his legal career at the prosecutor’s office in Jackson County before moving into private practice, where he remained for over 35 years. Chuck also had a second career as a “professional gambler” and could often be found playing video poker and sports wagering at casinos around the city.
Rugby was the great passion of Chuck’s life. He played and coached rugby with the Kansas City Blues and Jr. Blues for the entirety of his adult life. It was unequivocally his favorite way to spend time and where he had his life’s most cherished moments. Rugby afforded him the opportunity to travel and make life-long friendships all over the world.
Whether he’d known you for forty years or forty minutes, Chuck was guaranteed to make every moment spent with him unforgettable. He was a notorious prankster and one of the funniest individuals you could ever meet. He was always, without a doubt, the life of the party.
Chuck’s Celebration of life will take place on Sunday November 5, 2023 at The Brooksider from 6pm – 9pm. In addition, family and friends will gather to visit and to celebrate Chuck’s life from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. Sharing of Memories), Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Meyers Northland Chapel 401 Main Street Parkville, MO. Donations to the family can be made on GoFundMe.

Chuck was a great source of entertainment especially in high school, working on the monthly publication of the Sartonian paper until midnight with the Journalism class. Later in life, Chuck proved to be a born leader, God bless!
Alece and I are very sorry for your loss. Chuck was a one of a kind and will be dearly missed!!!! saying prayers for your family. I loved that guy.
Love to all Chuck’s family. My fond memories of Chuck are many. When he lived next door and my kids were young they would knock on his door and Paula would answer and they would ask if Chuck could come out and play and he always obliged. He will always have a place in my heart and I am very saddened of his passing. 💗
Sorry to hear about Chuck. Fondest memories was when he was a kid and he was a pain. Rest in peace, Chuckie.
Prayers of healing for Chuck’s family. I am so sorry for your loss. Chuck was a great man whom will be remembered fondly. May he rest in peace in his Heavenly Father’s arms.
Prayers to you all…I only knew Chick for a short time while playing rugby as a new player at 50yrs old & Chuck took me under his wing to help me play at the Aspen Rugger fest …..he will always be in my heart as a kind man 🙏

Chuck was a great guy! When I went to Pius he took me under his wing. I also went to my first of many card games! He never met a stranger! He will be missed!
Maxine, Glenda, Paula, and Kelly,
So sad to hear of Chuck’s passing. From the first time I met Chuck in 1st grade at St Therese, through the Pomme De Terre years, and the last time we ran across each other a few years ago, I considered him a friend. All of you as well.
He was the definition of a character and a chip off the Big Chuck block.
God Bless you All.
I’m mourning today for your family and for Chuck. May the chains that bound you to this realm be broken and may your souls karma heal and render past life’s pain. May your courtship in the stars continue to navigate the justice you served on earth. Thank you. I’m sorry your pain was too much to bear.
