Chad J. Trimmer, 49, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022. Chad was born February 20, 1973 to Joseph and Debra (McDaniels) Trimmer in Council Bluffs Iowa.He is a 1991 graduate from Park Hill High School.
Chad was a man of many characteristics; a lover of nature, fishing, indoor gardening, free style rap, researching genealogy, rock hunting and finding lost treasures in pastures, meadows and wooded areas. He enjoyed four wheeling with his friends, making jewelry, mining gold, alchemy, riding motorcycles, and making others laugh. His daily style in fashion, showing his tats and sharing his dazzling smile with everyone he met will forever be remembered. His greatest accomplishment in life was being a great father to his three children.
A loving son, brother, dad, uncle and friend was taken from us too soon. The great hall in Norse mythology “Valhalla” where heroes were slain in battle are reserved a place of honor, glory, happiness or heaven. Reaching Valhalla isn’t just a matter of securing a comfortable and honorable afterlife but achieving union with Odin himself. Until we meet again Chad.
Chad was preceded in death by his son Chanceler “CJ” Lane in 2016. He is survived by his loving children: daughter, Marley Carter and a son Zayn Trimmer; parents, Joe and Debra; a sister Korie Trimmer; step-brother Michael Mou; a niece Nicole Trimmer and a great niece Mazlyn Geary and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville, MO. A Celebration of Chad’s life will commence at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel. Memories of Chad and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.

It been so long since I’ve shared a moment in time with Chad…. What a superb fella he is and was. Seems like the longest of time… every now and then he’d pop up among the faces online social places. Usually with something clever; witty that or a heartfelt diddy. The ones that are sometimes cheesy and yet still pleasing. Just a simple line to let another know that they’d came into mind. There’s been so many… So so many…
So sorry for your loss and a big one it is- Chad and his beautiful smile❤️ I love the songs that were chosen and all those wonderful pictures and memories. You can tell Chad loved his children with everything in him.
My owe my the times we shared a friendship i wont forget ….you were a strait up true hearted individual that will for ever be missed my friend #love ya may you rest in peace
What wonderful pictures and beautiful memories. Chad was always unapologetically himself. A funny, kind, crazy, loyal, unique, deep soul. He could make you laugh with his antics and cry with his pain. One of the best fathers and he fiercely loved his children. I will miss his funny messages. On to a new journey, My Friend, with peace in your heart. My sympathy to all the family and friends feeling this loss.
I love you my big brother ♥️ eternally in my heart ☯️
I am completely devastated to learn of Chad’s passing. My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends. He always held a special place in my heart.. I loved him very much and always made sure he knew it.
To my big brother whom I love, cherish, and miss so very much. Who will I look to for the wise and knowledgeable advice you blessed me with every day? There’s a huge hole in my heart, you took with you the day you left this earth and it will now stay with you until the day I meet you again, I will forever hold dear to my heart all of our fond memories and try to pass on the wisdom you had once given me to my babies, I will make sure they never forget their uncle Chad. You had such an impact on so many lives, god has gained another angel, a warrior… And to the first family of Chad, just know you don’t grieve alone, he’s touched so many hearts, and this one will always be there for anything you may ever need. I love you all.
The world will never be the same with him gone, he was so full of life and such an extraordinary human, definitely one of a kind. So sad…sorry for your loss.
