Carolyn M. Fowler, 62, of Gladstone, MO passed away suddenly on September 2, 2023. She was born June 15, 1961 in Toledo, OH to Thomas and Jeannine (Deshelter) Thompson. They preceded her in death.
Carolyn graduated from McAuley High School in Toledo, OH and then joined the United States Army, where she worked as an air traffic controller. Next she pursued a nursing career and spent the rest of her career as a registered nurse. The majority of that time was for North Kansas City Hospital. She was of the Catholic faith and in earlier years was a member of St. Therese Parish, near Parkville, MO.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy McCall. Survived by her beloved son, Peter Junjulas and wife, Lindsey of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; two beloved grandchildren, Peter Nicholas Junjulas IV and Callie Marie Junjulas; and seven siblings: Tee Thompson, Doug Thompson, Greg Thompson, Andy Thompson, Cathy Lovallo, Nancy Jillisky and Lori Thompson.
Dear Peter and family…..I was so sad to hear of Carolyn’s passing. As you know, I was her neighbor for many years, on Meadowvale Drive by Houston Lake. She was always so much fun….and such a caring person and what a great cook!. She used to send me over bowls of her wonderful soups and other goodies, that she would make. And…we always celebrated out birthdays together when we lived next door to each other, since mine is June 6 and hers on the 15th. I will keep you all in my prayers….and I hope you find peace in all of your amazing memories of this special lady!!!
