Carl Junior Trober, 70, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. He was born June 27, 1952 to R.B. and Martha (Huston) Trober in Lawrence, KS.
Carl served his country proudly in the United States Army. He spent his working career as a security officer for the Department of Corrections in Kansas City, MO before his retirement in the early 2000’s. Carl was Christian by faith. He enjoyed fishing, cars, bowling on the Wii, playing cards, and watching Sci-Fi and western movies. Above all Carl was a family man who cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survived by his son, Michael Trober and wife Janet of Grain Valley, MO, daughter, Amber Wilson and husband Anthony of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Justin Trober, Makayla Swartz and husband Blake, Emilee Greble and husband Braden, Sam Trober, Khloe Trober, James Trober, Ky’Lee Olvera, Ashlyn Miller, Kendell Johnson, Quintae Youman, Aaron Wilson; great-grandchildren, Liam Fish, Bennett Swartz, Everett Swartz, ZaeAnthony Skaggs, Kaynan Skaggs, Adonis Youman, Ariah Youman; siblings, Bob Trober and wife Eva of Kansas City, KS, Margie Grifitt of Independence, MO, Shirley Anderson of North Carolina, Lisa Trober of Raytown, MO, Diane Butler of Independence, MO, Janice Trober of Lee’s Summit, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, R.B. and Martha Trober; siblings, Jay Trober, Larry Trober, Jim Trober.
His family will receive friends and family from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2023 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. A committal service with full military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
