Bonnie Lou Wallen Boyd, 65, a resident of Kansas City, MO passed away in her home on Tuesday February 2, 2021. She was born December 20, 1955.
Family was most important to Bonnie. She cherished every second she was able to spend with her daughters and grandchildren. She had a genuine love for others and will fondly be remembered and greatly missed. Bonnie had come to a place of peace during the last year of her life.
Survived by her twin daughters, Jacquelyn Hopkins and husband, Josh of Cameron, MO and Kelly Boley and husband, Damien of Smithville, MO; beloved grandchildren, Jillian, Jaxson and Anastasia; siblings: William, Steven, David, Terry and Carol; many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will be having a celebration of life for her on Friday February 5th 2021 at the community center in Cameron, MO. All who would like to attend are welcome to attend the services. We will attempt to also live stream on Facebook the services for those unable to make it. We plan to provide some form of food following the services. And a place for people to sit and have conversations. You can share this event with anyone you may think would like to be present.
In lieu of flowers, as many knew, my mother grew up in a big family, and was a foster child. She always had the biggest heart for those who were in need. We are going to look into local charities. We would like to donate money to families in need at this time and we will be submitting donations to Syngery Services. She would have loved knowing she was a part of making other people feel happy and taken care of.
You can also send flowers if you would like. She did like them. Purple was her favorite color. Just do what you feel works best for you. If you would like to send donations, you may choose to do so on PayPal. Damien Boley: [email protected]
I’m so sorry for your loss. She was so young and beautiful–both inside and out.
My deepest sympathies Jacqui and Kelly and Family….. I’m forever grateful for this last 6 months in which I was able to reconnect with your mother after a long period of time……. Where the exception of my daughter she touched me in a way that no other individual has…….. She would say from time to time that she doesn’t have money but she has love and how true that turned out to be…… Hers was a heart of gold in which no amount of money in the world could have competed and this is what she gave on a regular basis…. How rich she truly was ! I will truly miss her but will forever cherish my memory of her and will smile in my heart whenever I think of her.
