It was an honor to know Billy McKinzie. His love for his family, his church, his fellowman I would hope that I could be 1/2 that man. I had the honor of being ordained as a deacon with Billy at Northland Baptist Church. My wife and I watched Ashley grow up into the Lady is she today. Billy was proud of both of his daughters and all his grand children. We enjoyed all the different times of fellowship with Billy, Marianne, Lesa, and Ashley. Death waits for no one, I wish I had called Billy one more time as I had told Holly a few months ago when Billy and I talked that we are going to lose a Saint in the near future. I rest knowing that my brother is in Heaven with his and my Savior. All of the McKinzie family we are praying for your comfort in knowing Billy is having a great time in Heaven. Praying for your peace and comfort that only the Lord on high can give.
