Beverly Ann Elliott, 87, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Friday, February 24, 2023 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born April 28, 1935 to Charles and Edna “Beatrice” (Beall) O’Brien in Kansas City, MO.
Beverly graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1953. She was united in marriage to Joe Elliott on June 16, 1953 in Independence, MO. Beverly retired after many years working as a cafeteria manager for the Blue Springs School district. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Blue Springs. Beverly loved to read and when her eyes began to fail, she listened to audio books. She was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed fishing, watching sports, especially those of her children and grandchildren. Above all Beverly cherished spending time with her family.
Survived by her daughters, Vickie Meyer and husband Roger of Blue Springs, MO, Debora Love of Blue Springs, MO, Tammie Glasgow and husband Bob of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Brendan Love and wife Nicole, Ashley Brooker and husband Marc, Kellen Glasgow and Jamie Lutz, Riley Glasgow and wife Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Macie Brooker, Mollie Brooker, Killian Brooker, Gage Hodges, Caroline Glasgow. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Elliott; son, Bruce Elliott, parents, Charles and Beatrice O’Brien.
Her family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will immediately follow at the Blue Springs Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church of Blue Springs. Vickie, I am so sorry to read of your moms passing. I ran into her before Christmas at Culver’s (with your sister). I always enjoyed visiting with her at Cedarhurst when my Dad was there..

Bev was the sweetest lady. She and her friends welcomed me into their circle to meet for lunch. They are a fun bunch of ladies. They love to tell stories about growing up here in Blue Springs. Bev will be missed. Condolences to her wonderful large family.
