Betty Lou Davis 73 of Climax Springs, MO passed away Wednesday February 6, 2013 at the Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Memorial service will be 9:30 am Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Meyers Funeral Chapel Blue Springs, MO. Memorial Contribution may be made to the Catholic Charities. Betty was born January 3, 1940 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Helen Clark. She married Richard “Dick” Davis March 1, 1956 who survives of the home. Betty attended St. Marks Catholic Church, and loved Disney World and going to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and espically spending time with her children, and grandchildren. She was employed for many years as an assistant manager for the Venture stores, and spent many years running the bakery there. Preceding her in death are a son Dickie Davis, brothers Rudolf and Tommy Clark, sisters Eunice Norman and Marjie Luper.
Other survivors include her daughters Elizabeth Hightower and husband Jeff of Blue Springs, MO, Deborah Shores and husband Rex of Blue Springs, MO, son Phillip Davis and wife Luemma of Alexandria, VA, brothers Frank Clark of Blue Springs, MO, Bob Clark of Overland Park, KS, Ronnie Clark of Kansas City, KS, sisters Judi Burns and Sharon Clark both of Kansas City, MO, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
