Ardis Ann Richardson, 90, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away peacefully August 5, 2022. She was born August 10, 1931 in Downs, KS to Fred and Lydia (Sealock) Limbocker.
Ardis graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1948 at the age of 16 and lived in the Blue Springs and Lee’s Summit area for most of her life. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. She was a member of several organizations, including Circle B. Club and the Rebekah Lodge. She was an award-winning quilter. Ardis was very devoted to her Catholic faith and was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Lee’s Summit.
She married Francis “Dale” Richardson on December 24, 1953, in Blue Springs. In addition to Dale, survivors include three sons: Curtis R. Richardson of Dallas, TX, Bradley S. Richardson of Blue Springs, MO and Stanley T. Richardson and wife, Cristina of Oak Grove, MO; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Douglas D. Richardson; three brothers; Ashby, Lyle and Devere Limbocker; and two sisters, Sally Aldridge and Evelyn Robinson; and a grandson, Matt Roby.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Committal Service and Interment will follow at the Blue Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Holy Spirit Parish or VNA Hospice. The Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs has been entrusted with the final arrangements. David and I extend our deepest sympathy to Dale and the entire family, We both have very wonderful memories of Ardis from when we were teens . She always met us with a smile and her home was always welcoming and open to us. We remember her kindness in our hearts. May the Lord wrap his loving arms around each of you and hold you close and help to bring some comfort and peace.
I was able to spend many fun days at baseball games with Ardis while she cheered on her grandson Nate. She came to many of his games and was his own personal cheerleader. Wonderful woman and wonderful family. I wish you all a lifetime of her memories.

You are all in our prayers 🙏 your loss is understood because how could anyone not love Ardis. What a precious sole. She was always kind and friendly. A smile forever present on her face. She was ever thoughtful of others and enjoyed visiting and checking in at the condo association office to say “hello”.
Sorry to hear about Ardis. Will miss her at our bingo at the Knights of Columbus in Camdenton Mo. I always loved her smile when her and Dale came to hall. She will be missed by all of us at the Knights Hall.
