Annie Catherine Holler, 80, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Friday, August 13, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO. She was born April 17, 1941in Polo, MO to Earl and Catherine (McDowell) Snider.
Annie was united in marriage to Richard William Holler Sr. on January 27, 1959 in Kansas City, MO. She spent several years as a para educator for the before and after program in both the Blue Springs and Independence School Districts. Annie was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed painting still life and landscape portraits. Above all Annie cherished spending time with her family.
Survived by her children, Richard Holler Jr. and his wife Brenda of Blue Springs, MO, Jane Hay and her husband Mike of Blue Springs, MO, Steven Holler and his wife Carrie of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Nathan Holler and his wife Monica, Bekki Wasem and her husband Chad, Andrea Kenepaske and her husband Johnny, Adam Hay and his wife Heather, Amanda McClafferty and her husband Alex, Kegan Holler; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Alice Hinkle and her husband Bill of Climax Springs, MO, Allen Snider of Independence, MO, Kenneth Snider of Warrensburg, MO. Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Holler Sr.; parents, Earl and Catherine Snider; sister, Jane Ballard.
Annie will be cremated per her wishes. Her family will gather to celebrate Annie’s life at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs. Memories of Annie and words of comfort for her family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.
I was so sad to hear about the passing of Annie. I truly enjoyed my time I had to get to know her. I loved seeing all her paintings and every time she had a new drawing. Prayers to your family and my thoughts are with you all.
