Annalisa Jones, 70, of Lawrence, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Annalisa was born November 4, 1951 in Leoben, Austria. She became a United States citizen in 1964 and grew-up in Junction City, KS.
Annalisa was a Catholic by faith.
She enjoyed going for walks and feeding the geese; listening to classic rock-n-roll music especially Led Zeppelin and the Beatles; shopping for antique pieces, along with collecting Native American pictures, pottery and jewelry.
Annalisa enjoyed traveling, taking road trips on her Harley Davidson and was looking forward to traveling to Scotland. She loved spending time with family and friends during the holidays and cooking for everyone. She will be remembered as a loving mother, loving grandma, good friend and a great cook.
Annalisa is survived by her loving son, John Robert “Robby” Jones and his wife Cassie Kent of Parkville, MO; a granddaughter, Shelby Jones; and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Farris Jones.
The family will honor Annalisa’s wishes for cremation. No formal services are scheduled at this time. Memories of Annalisa and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.

Sorry for your loss. We never met, I worked with Lisa at AllenPress. She always made me laugh, we always had a lot of fun at work!

Lisa treated me like a son, I worked with her over 20yrs and we hangout sometimes, she is a great cook. She has a very kind heart and I love her for that, we did a lot of garage sale together and we love watching haunting , paranormal shows together. I know I will miss her so much. I’m so sorry for your loss. I know she will be missed.
