
Survivors include her husband, Leroy of the home; daughter, Melanie Beaman (Glen) of Topeka, KS; son, Steve Bedingfield (Viola) of Savannah, MO; three grandchildren: Kris Beaman (Debbie) of Salina, KS, Susan Harris of Topeka, KS and Andrea Laderoute (Charles) of St. Joseph, MO; four great grandchildren: Shelby Westfall (Lance), Katie Beaman, Frances Harris and Kaylee Lederoute; also surviving are brothers, Robert Hand (Beverly) of Florence, CO, Richard Hand of Penrose, CO and Jack Perdue of Florence, CO; her sisters, Eleanor Will of Hubbard, OR and Lorena Holcomb of Coal Creek, CO; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; older brother, David L. Wood; Twin brother, Herbert Shattuck, brother, William Perdue and a sister, Harriett Green.
Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life, April 30, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at North Kansas City Parks and Rec. Community Building, 1201 Clark Ferguson Drive, North Kansas City, Missouri 64116. Arrangements entrusted to the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. Oh how I will miss her. She was a second mother to me. My heart goes out to Leroy, Melanie and Steve as well as the rest of the family. She is no longer suffering or in pain. Se is at peace and is now in heaven.

I so enjoyed working with Alice at Floor Decor. She was such an inspiration. I was blessed to ge gifted one of her paintings which I still have hanging in my home. My sympathy to Leroy and family.
