Les loved his children and their families. They meant the world to him. He is finally without pain and in peace.
I love you Dad! You will be missed.
Les was like my second father. Even as adults, we had fun together. Although, I had only seen him sporadically since being sick, he was always on my mind and I kept track of him and communicated through my mom. I recall his strong will and him always saying how “tough of a cookie” he was as this was proven to be true in the end. My condolences to the family.
I still miss our luncheon get-together every Wednesday when he became home bound in his house. He would decide the menu and I would pick it up on my way to his house. We would either talk about our families, the Chiefs or just nonsense while watching the car auctions on the TV. I miss him greatly and will never forget him.
Prayers to his family!!
Les was a great car buddy and friend. He will be greatly missed.
