At the young age of 38 Nicolette Elizabeth White, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday April 10, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born October 5, 1984 to Phillip and Vallerie (Gow) White in Independence, Missouri.
Nicolette was a 2003 graduate of Grain Valley High School. She worked in customer service at Hy-Vee and Job-One. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Springs. Nicolette loved her cats as well as spending time with her family. She had many hobbies including swimming, coloring, crafting, bowling, and traveling.
Survived by her parents Phillip and Vallerie White of Blue Springs, MO; brothers, Robert Lee Bowling and Wife Rachel of N. Kansas City, MO, Michael Lee Bowling and wife Claudia of Virginia Beach, VA; nieces and nephews Tristyn Bowling of Liberty, MO, Maggy Bowling of Columbia, MO, Michaela Bowling of Roanoke, VA, Riley Bowling of Columbus, OH, Ethan Bowling of Cape Cod, MA; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nicolette is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Kenneth and Beverly White; Maternal grandmother Virginia Ridgeway; aunt Janet White; and uncle Roy Moore.
Nicolette’s family will receive friends and family from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the KC Pet Project. Nikki was such a wonderful young lady. I love her smile and her go get it attitude. She was a joy to coach in softball. She will truly be missed. Our prayers are with all who love her.

She will be missed. My husband James Santiago talked about her often, And how the played special Olympics together. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
We were so very sorry to hear of her passing. I really enjoyed coaching her in swimming. “Kick those long legs” was a phrase I used a lot. I also know she enjoyed dancing at dances. And doing Word Search! She will truly be missed. She is enjoying the beauty of heaven.
