Juan Eduardo Hinojosa, 82, a resident of Branson, MO formerly of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Cox Medical Center in Branson, MO. He was born October 22, 1940 to Victor and Catherine (Stewart) Hinojosa in Kansas City, MO.
Juan served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Beverly Ann Palmisano on April 8, 1967 Norco, CA. Juan spent his working career as an Industrial Engineer for Nothrup-Gurmman. He was a parishioner of St. Bellarmine Catholic Church in Blue Springs. Juan was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He always liked to talk politics, and enjoyed collecting knives and watches. Juan cherished being a grandfather and always enjoyed spending time with them.
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Beverly Hinojosa of Branson, MO; children, Deborah Conn and husband Michael of Tonopah, AZ, Charrice Smith and husband James of Branson, MO, Connie Blount and husband Donny of Cedar City, UT, son Grant and wife Janna of LaCygne KS; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; Juan is preceded in death by his parents; Victor and Catherine Hinojosa, his grandson, Eric Nord of Riverside California; and granddaughter, Amber Bray of Pottstown Pennsylvania.
His family will receive family and friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday , November 2, 2022 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the chapel. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memorial Park Cemetery in Grain Valley, MO. My little bother, my heart is broken, you have gone home and are with our heavenly father, I know you were a strong believer . So many memories. I remember that 90 mile trip down the freeway, when you had kidney stone. I’ll miss you you have been on my mind and in my heart. I’m so glad that we got to talk to each other.
I love you Juan always have and always will. There are so many stories, I could tell and I will.
I know you are at peace with our Heavenly Father and tho I’ll miss you terribly, I’ll keep you in my heart for the rest of my life and when I come we’ll walk the golden streets of Heave you Ricardo, me & Victor.
