Mrs. Joan Pauli, 88, a long-time resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO. She was born February 22, 1934 to Zachariah and Mable (Allen) Roberts in Thayer, MO.
Joan was a 1952 graduate of Thayer High School. She attended Missouri State University to receive her education degree. Joan returned to her home town of Thayer, MO to work as a telephone operator for AT&T. She later met and fell in love with Lowell Ernest Pauli, they were later united in marriage in Thayer, MO. Joan attended First Baptist Church of Grain Valley. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting, camping, and animals especially dogs. Joan cherished spending time with her family and friends, and was always supportive of her husband Lowell.
Survived by her children, Dennis Pauli of Blue Springs, MO, Susan Pauli of Blue Springs, MO, Mark Pauli of Grain Valley, MO; grandson, Joshua Pauli. Joan is preceded in death by her husband Lowell Pauli; parents, Zachariah and Mable Roberts.
Her family will receive family and friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Oh Susan, I’m so sorry to hear of your Moms’ passing. My prayers are with you and your brothers. What a blessing that she went so peacefully, but it’s still so difficult losing your Mom. I pray for the peace, warmth and comfort of the Holy Spirit in the days and weeks ahead. Love you dearly Susan.

Susan so sorry to hear your mom passed away.. Have such fond memories of being neighbors and fellow church members. She was a sweet lady. Enjoyed being in choir with your dad. He had a beautiful tenor voice. . They are together again .
