James “Jimmy Alan” Nading, 45, of Gower, MO passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. He was born January 15, 1969 to James Franklin and Linda (Short) Nading, Jr. in Independence, MO.
Jimmy was a happy go lucky guy, who smiled all the time. He was full of joy. He enjoyed: country music, sports, getting in the water at the beach. He loved food, especially Ho-Ho’s and Ding Dongs.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Ernest Short, Mary Louise Nading and James Nading, Sr. Survivors include his mother, Linda Newton of Kansas City (North), MO; father, James Nading, Jr. of St. Joseph, MO; three sisters: Lori Collins of Kansas City (North), MO; Rachelle Nading of Gladstone, MO and Lindsey Villigran of Kansas City (North), MO; a brother, Rodney (Trina) Nading of St Joseph, MO; grandma, Mary Lou Devoy of Kansas City (North), MO; two aunts: Debbie Newton, Kimberly Lewis, four uncles: Ernest R. Short, Carl L. Short, Ben Alcanter, and George Short; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service celebrating Jimmy’s life will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Parkway Christian Fellowship, 3004 Pickett, St. Joseph, MO with Pastor Dave Hugger officiating. Memories of Jimmy and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.
I love you my big brother and now you are at peace and pain free.
