Chester Meeker, 73, of Liberty Missouri, passed away October 31, 2022, surrounded by family. He was a man of faith and will be forever remembered as a husband, father, and grandfather.

Helen J. Bentley, 98, a longtime resident of Independence, MO. passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, MO. She had been a resident at The Fountains in Independence, MO. Helen was born September 3, 1924 to Joseph and Mary Weixeldorfer in Kansas City, MO.

Patricia “Pat” Marlene Towles, 89, a resident of Lake Tapawingo, MO passed away peacefully Monday, October 31, 2022 at the Baptist House of Independence, MO. She was born January 13, 1933 to Clyde Sr. and Mamie “LaRue” (Downing) Ruble in Douds, IA.
Pat is a 1951 graduate of Douds High School. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Towles on February 17, 1952 in Douds, IA. Pat worked as a secretary for John W. Luff Elementary School in Independence for 29 years. [Read more…]

Renate Ingrid Colvin – incredible wife, mother and loyal friend – passed away on October 30, 2022 at the age of 76 in Parkville, Missouri, leaving a devastated family and friends in her wake.
Renate was born in a refugee settlement in northern Germany after WWII. She lived the first seven years of her life there with her mother and grandfather…both of whom had fled Koenigsberg at the end of the war. [Read more…]

Doris was born December 7, 1939 to Druel and Olive (Rodgers) Crane in Chesapeake, MO.Doris was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart Wm. Carroll O’Neal in 1976. Doris graduated from Buffalo High School in 1958. She attended Southwest Missouri State College. She had a long fulfilling career in the travel industry. She and Carroll loved to travel in Europe and other beautiful places, including Mexico and taking cruises. She loved spending time with her adorable grandchildren and family. On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
