In the wake of WWII servicemen were coming home and starting their adult lives over, getting married and starting careers and families. Jack and Anna Walby were doing just that. In the heart of the city’s East Side, they settled and started their family. First Sandra in 1947, followed by Linda in 1948 and bringing up the rear Deb, 1953. I think she may have been a bit of her Father’s favorite. Deb went to Manchester Elementary where she made many friends and was probably constantly in trouble for talking. Gregory Charles Huber, 90, a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church and Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully Sunday, July 31, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Greg was born August 11, 1931 to Louis and Frances (Leifgen) Huber in Wien, MO.Greg was a veteran of the United States Army. JoAnn graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in 1964. She was united in marriage to Richard Allen Lacy on November 19, 1966 in Kansas City, MO. JoAnn worked as a closer in the title business for 30 years. She was a parishioner of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Independence, MO. David Floyd Moe, 84, a resident of Warsaw, MO formerly of Independence, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born September 3, 1937 to Marlin and Ruth (Kirshner) Moe in Milwaukie, WI.
