Paul Scott Taylor, 58, of Overland Park, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Paul was born May 31, 1964 to William Franklin and Gladys C. (Scott) Taylor in Kansas City, Kansas.
Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved spending time with his grandkids; taking them on trips to the park or to their favorite store to get a toy. He loved to draw and was very good at it;. He loved Batman and even had a Batman suit he purchased and took pictures in. [Read more…]
Valerie Jean Carter, 72, of Liberty, MO passed away suddenly at her home on June 27, 2022. She was born November 20,1949 in Vermillion, OH to Irvin Leonard and Virginia Mae (Snell) Mollenkop.
Valerie attended Richmond Heights High School where she met the love of her life, Henry. She graduated in 1967 and then moved to Arizona with her parents where she attended Glendale Community College and pursued a Business Management Degree. The couple were then united in marriage on June 15, 1968 in Euclid, OH. The couple raised two children and resided in Ohio until 1987, where they were then relocated to Liberty, Missouri where they happily lived ever since. [Read more…]
Edward Tyson Fritz, 48, of Kansas City, Missouri lost his 3-year battle with cancer on Friday, June 24, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at Revolution Church in Riverside, MO on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, at 6:30pm.
Ed was born in Kansas City, Kansas on March 27, 1974, to Bernie and Frances Fritz. He married his wife, Mary on July 6, 1997, and they would’ve celebrated their 25th anniversary this July. Patricia “Pat” Jeanette Chappell, 87, a resident of Blue Springs, MO died peacefully after a short illness at her home Thursday, June 23, 2022. She was one of two children born to Margaret and Albert Rodgers. Patricia was born and raised in Sullivan, Missouri. Her brother Buddy was three years younger than her and frequently was a thorn in her side during her young life. That changed over time and Buddy and Patricia became very close. [Read more…]
Sonja Johnson, 76, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.

Loretta is a Kansas City Northland native and has played a key role in the success of the Meyers Northland location. On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
