William (Bill) C. Pivonka, 91, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away peacefully on January 31, 2022. He was born on March 31, 1930, to Robert and Irene Pivonka of Albert, Kansas. Bill attended St. Ann’s school graduating from high school in 1947. He then attended St. Benedict’s College in Atchison, Kansas, graduating in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then served 2 years in the US Army as a Research Chemist. Bill then enrolled at the University of Kansas earning his PhD in Organic Chemistry in 1959. [Read more…]

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the passing of both our beloved Kristine Elizabeth Anderson, 35, of Kansas City, MO and her infant daughter Ava Mae. They passed away suddenly on January 31, 2022, while in the hospital.
Kristine was born September 10, 1986 in Rolla, MO to Gale and Kay (Luna) Duckworth. She graduated high school in St. James, MO. She had lived in Kansas City the last three years with her loving partner and coparent Corey Sperry. She had a zest for life and a genuine love for people, especially her daughters and her family. Gerald Gene Nance, 78, of Lathrop, MO passed away on Monday, January, 31, 2022, at the North Kansas City Hospital.
Gerald was born February 16, 1943 in De Leon, TX. In his adult life, he served his Savior and his country as a Baptist deacon in Texas and an Army veteran. Gerald spent most of his life in Texas, where he worked as a machinist until he moved to Missouri to work for General Motors, where he eventually retired. [Read more…]

Angela Leigh Wasson-Hunt, 65, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully Monday, January 31, 2022 at NorthCare Hospice House with her loving family by her side. She was born February 27, 1956, in Wichita Falls, TX to Field and Mary Ann (Clinton) Wasson, Sr.
Soon thereafter, the family moved to Siloam Springs, AR, where her father joined his family’s banking business. The Wasson family was prominently known throughout the Northwest Arkansas banking and finance industry through their ownership of the Bratt-Wasson Bank/First National Bank of Siloam Springs (later sold to Arvest Bank). Michael “Mike” Remondino, 77, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO formerly of Birmingham, MI passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at home with his family by his side.
