Mary E. Hotaling, 97, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital. Mary was born December 23, 1923 to Steven and Mary (Chorika) Evanick in Shenandoah, PA.
The family will honor Mary’s wishes of cremation with a Graveside Service at Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown, New York at a later date. Memories of Mary and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com
Colby M. Wochner, 34, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 28, 2021 in Independence, MO. He was born October 23, 1986 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Greg and Jill (Mountjoy) Wochner.

James (Jim) Ray Cramer, 76, a resident of Independence, MO passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 28, 2021 at his home. He was born September 24, 1944 to Lloyd and Mary (Jolly) Cramer in Sedalia, MO.
Jim served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He worked in the personnel department for Forest T. Jones. Jim was a member of First Christian Church in Blue Springs. He enjoyed singing in the church choir, and taking care of his 4 dogs.
Survived by his brother, Gary Cramer and his wife Georgia of Prairie Village, KS; sister, Gayle Vickers and her husband Larry of Independence, MO; several nieces and nephews. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Cramer; nephew, Trent Vickers. [Read more…]
Donna Mae Burkhart, age 83, passed away on June 26, 2021. Donna was born on June 19, 1938 and was a lifelong Kansas City area resident.
In her younger years, she enjoyed riding horses, motorcycles and was an avid bowler.
After raising her two daughters in Lee’s Summit, she started her career at International Paper, finishing her career at Sprint.
Donna spent her senior years at Rosewood Senior Apartments surrounded by loving and caring friends. [Read more…]

On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
