Anna Finkler
Anna Marie Finkler, 60, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019, at home with her loving sisters by her side. She was born May 23, 1959 in Newport, RI to Michael and Margaret (Carpenter) Finkler, Jr. They preceded her in death.
Anna was a kind and gentle soul who always placed the needs of others first. She had a great love for her Lord and her family. She was raised Catholic and also attended the Presbyterian Church. James “Jim” Stephen McCarty, 80, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born January 19, 1939 in Boone County, MO to Woodrow and Virginia (Basinger) McCarty.
Jim was united in marriage to Marilyn Kruse on January 17, 1959 in Mexico, MO. He was an insurance agent for Prudential for several years, and he aced the (LUTC) Life Underwriters Training Council test. He served 2 terms on the St. Brendan School Board. Later Jim worked as a warehouse supervisor in Mexico, MO for Wetterau a whole sale food distributor before being transferred to Kansas City, MO. Nora LaRue Farris. Age 85, of Blue Springs MO, passed away on October 26, 2019, with her beloved husband Chuck holding her hand, as he had for more than 70 years. A celebration of her life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019, at First United Methodist Church in Blue Springs, 301 S.W. Woods Chapel Rd, Blue Springs, MO. The family will receive friends and family from 9-10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Linda Kay Cizek, 72, a resident of Overland Park, KS formerly of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.
Linda was born on February 5, 1947 in Bellevue, NE to James and Vivian (Beaver) Cundall. She was united in marriage to Calvin “Carey” Cizek on July 1, 1967 in Omaha, NE. Linda was Catholic by faith. She worked in banking, then later in medical billing. Linda enjoyed shopping, taking pride in consistently beating her husband in gin rummy, and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
