Johnny Howard, 82, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away June 30, 2019. A Celebration of Johnny’s Life will be at 2:00 pm Saturday July 6^th at Jim and Marilyn’s. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you scratch off a lottery ticket in Johnny’s memory. Enjoy your winnings.

Judy Tinius, 76, a Blue Springs, MO resident passed away Sunday June 30th, 2019. She was born, Judith Arlene Millard, to Andrew and Viola Millard on March 6th, 1943 in Carthage, MO.

Judy graduated from Carl Junction, MO High School in 1961. She married Robert Clymer in 1962. In 1968, they moved to Blue Springs, MO. For the last 30 years, Judy has battled various illnesses. Prior to that, she was an active member of the Blue Springs Church of Christ. She worked on the church bus as a teacher, taught Bible classes and was active with the youth group.  [Read more…]

Clara Lorene Garnett, 90, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away June 24, 2019. Services are private.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Garnett. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Garnett, Janet McMullen, Patty Montgomery, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Earl J. Madison, 83, a Blue Springs, MO resident passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Villages of Jackson Creek, Memory Care in Independence, MO.  He was born September 2, 1935 in Kansas City, MO to Chester and Bertha (Pickert) Madison.

Earl was a United States Army Veteran who served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict, where he was a member of SCARWAF “Special Category Army Reassigned with the Air Force”, or in plain language, a bastard, oddball unit made up of misfits.  He was united in marriage to Bernadette Wolken-Goodwin on December 15, 1994 in in Eureka Springs, AR.   [Read more…]
